Hungerford Away

Another huge game, and only 48 miles away.

I lived there for over 10 years, and it’s a lovely little town to spend the day.

They’re doing their £20 bundle, where you get in, get a meal (and their food is excellent) and a pint for a score.

We’ll be meeting at my old home, the Railway Tavern, which is a proper old boozer and is away fan friendly. It’s only a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the ground. Be good to get a few in there.

Not true. I always flicked through to see if you’d taken an horrific snap of me eating. Smile

No Jim. Wife and took over there when I was 26 and she was 20. Got married from there, and brought both our lads home from hospital to there. Some amazing memories over our ten years, and for the whole time the fecking trains were a constant pain in the arse! Big Grin

How, surely any trains that stopped gave you potential customers?

Cheers for heads up on the ticket deal. I'm on the minibus with the T-End boys so will sort my ticket in advance

We were the unofficial waiting room for weirdos who brought their own can of coke and sandwiches, and the level crossing beeping went on all night.
