This is their retained list. They have or had 30 contracted players on their books, plus they had four on loan so essentially only needed 7 out of those 30 to field a team. They finished 14th.

They must be paying £25k a week in wages for that lot. How can they possibly afford that?!!

They were hit badly by the manager leaving and the new manager barely winning a game.

My point was less about their manager and position and more about the sheer number of players that they have on their books.

I'm amazed they made it to the end of the season. Strangely they improved a bit after the old Bath manager joined the club
