How do the other teams at this level (Steps 2 & 3) set up their management structure? We had a gaffer and two non-playing coaches. Is that a common thing?
I’m curious as to what other teams do and how they might embrace technology to give them an edge.

In this league you need to have a minimum of 3 qualified coaches. Some teams go for a Manager/Assistant/GK coach, others have a regular coach (or 2) in place of the GK coach.
Our previous set up of Manager/Assistant/Coach/GK coach wasn’t particularly unusual.

Cheers Charlie. When you say that you need a minimum of three in the coaching/management team, is that a league requirement or merely an effective and tried-and-tested structure that divides the responsibilities?

It’s a league requirement. I suspect it’s in place to try and professionalise things. But you could easily get a kit man with those qualifications to get around things.
