The plan for the fixtures to be announced is around September 8th. As usual the National League have to wait for the PL and EFL to announce their's first.

As the first game is an FA Cup tie, when will the draw be made for that?
The round before we come in is played on Tue 22nd Sept, so it won't be long before our first game on the 3rd Oct that we discover if we're home or away!

My guess is it will be Wednesday 23rd unless the FA decide to do more than one draw at a time.

Alex said in his blog that we enter the Trophy in the 1st round proper, we usually enter in the 2qr don't we?

Alex is wrong according to the list on the FA website we actually come in at the 2nd Round stage with the Step 1 sides joining in at the 3rd Round.
