Guess the penalty luck was going to run out eventually and great that we have got another red card.

According to the commentary we had enough chances to win it. We just couldn’t put them away (again)!!!!!

Sounded like we had chances to put it to bed before Marine got their equaliser. The sending off was a real downer to hear and I thought Marine would take advantage, but the lads did well to take it to pens. Radio commentary was very good and balanced, credit to the Marine comms team for that.

A very respectable cup run, and it sounded like we left with our heads held high.

Well I went to the game.
Nice set up, people and grub.
As for the game we more than held our own all game even when down to 10 after Ben Morgan had a straight red after a clumsy challenge near the centre circle.
My MOM-Sion Spence , scored a great goal, had several other chances one of which was brilliantly saved by the keeper.
KP and Hanksy were fed on scraps.Jared didn’t have a meaningful save to make all game.
Penalties-always a lottery .
Disappointed-yes
Outplayed- no not at all.
Away support- brilliant
Imo it bodes well, no HP, EW,KS,KP etc and still we held our own.

We were sat right behind the goal in the Main Stand and have to agree with Pims that certainly first half JT didn't have a serious save to make and second half we had at least three good chances to increase our lead before they equalised. We could and should have been out of site before they scored.

Also agree about MOTM - SS was by far our best player. Weak links EW (poor pass accuracy and didn't convert penalty), KP (surprised he wasn't subbed at halftime) and BM (red card for poorly judged challenge leaving us to play a third of the match with only ten men).

Really positive thing is that we've played three teams playing in the level above us and none of them has beaten us over 90 minutes, so even with our current squad we should be able to survive in the next level up next season.
