It is great that fans donated to this to make this happen and clearly there is an appetite to give the players the best possible chance.
Can something be set up, perhaps on a monthly basis with a draw for things which hopefully wouldn't cost the club much, things like a signed shirt. I know this is a bit like the fans fund but just a small amount from all the fans each month and perhaps come darlington or similar, there would be enough to make this happen.
I suspect sponsorship is going to be tough right now and it might be down to us fans in the short term.
Just as an observation, with things like the fans fund, it happens and then it goes quiet. By having a monthly draw this would continue to be "news" on a regular basis.
Even if it could be an extra item to add to the streaming or similar.
I know it easy to suggest ideas and it often falls on the same people to make things happen. Alex talks about the 1%,maybe this could be one of those

The reason why things like the fans fund starts and then goes quiet is because it’s the same old supporters putting in and there’s only so much people
can give, so it doesn’t matter if you dress it up differently.  The cof is a great tool but it isn’t the beginning and end of Gloucester City’s fan base - we have more season ticket holders than ever before, many new ones, and we have a reach of several thousand on social media. Ok many social media followers are passive but it would be great if we could find new ways to tap in to the wider support

I'm sure we can sort something ... If Ian and Trev set something up via the ST I'll do the rest. It's great that the fans managed to raise £1k to help the players this Saturday, thank you all. We're Spennymoor early November ... it never ends!

And you're 100% correct ... all I/ we can control/ manage is 1% ... let's hope the overnight is the 1% on Saturday!
