This is correct, I was informed overnight of this... but as I've said a number of times ... people/ clubs are leaking information left right and centre to the media ... which is wrong! All the letters went to the club chairman only and where clearly marked Private & Confidential. Yet this morning, I noticed Ollie Bayliss on twitter had clearly seen something as his information was spot on...

As I've said before between the BBC Sports page and Ollie Bayliss on twitter ... they have been spot on all the way though ... The other week they where posting information almost as if they where on the same conference call as me .... what can you do ...

What sort of figure were we hoping for Alex? I’m surprised everyone hasn’t got different amounts but I’d have thought the fact that isn’t the case has helped us. I was fearing we were going to get less than 30k so was surprised to see it that high. As mentioned elsewhere on the thread we have done better than other sides for sure.

I agree with you Darran ... and ... I completely agree with how the league have done the splits, lets face it, however they did it, someone would moan! Winners and losers is part of sport.

We've lost pretty massive numbers on sponsorship at NMP, I'd be surprised if even the big boys in the NL lost the same levels as us ... GCAFC needs £650k a year to break even ... so simple maths is c£55k a month ... We've had in c£90k from season ticket sales (thank you all) and not a lot else ... say £10k in sponsorship and the rest pumped in from the 3 amigos ... most of the sponsorship we've spoken about about has been build discounts, from say Bradfords and alike ... I said I can't do anymore after picking up the lions share of the ground build come the end ... but what can you do... Eamonn, Steve and I battle on ... I'll let someone tell my wife ... Sounds like a job for Fabien!

All very interesting Alex and I guess we were never going to get as much as we needed/wanted. Hopefully we can pick up some sponsorship for the live streaming to help and sponsorship boards would look very good on the streams as well.

Yes, I had sold it for £70k ... but Covid killed that deal ... Hence why we now have the Brexit and Covid stands ... I can see it now ... "Big Dave's Gaff" ... now that's better then Kevin ...

What the heck lets call the place that anyway ... "Big Dave's Gaff" with a slogan underneath of "Everyone knows a Dave" ...

Yep, take us out for reasons already discussed ... and you'll work out if there are any winners ...
