Stewards and helpers
#1

I wanted to do a quick post to stop all the emails and questions ref match day stewards and helpers...

The procedure is simple:

1) If you want to help at games (thank you) please email claire.lane@soldi.co.uk ...season ticket holders will always come first.
2) If you get an email/message back asking if you can help at xyz game you say:
    a) yes thank you, what time etc or...
    b) no sorry, I'm washing my hair (Ian ... you'll need to lie)
3) Claire will then respond and confirm you're in the gang for the game or not
4) Jody will then organise the stewards on match day, but stewards need to help and not just watch the games ...sorry to be blunt... and if you see anyone on the pitch in flat shoes or a bloody photographer with a chair sat on the pitch ...like the chap last week did... kick him straight in the nuts with my love and blessing.

I believe the Telford game is already sorted, but this procedure should stop all the emails and messages to Trev and Dave for example ...so what not to do:

1) Do not ask Trev or Dave or anyone else if you can steward, help etc ...
2) Do not leave a message on the COF saying you can, no one will respond or action it
3) Do not assume you are or aren't helping ...email claire.lane@co.uk to find out

Thank you all

It's up to the home club to organise.

They only give access to essential travellers ie the the team, management and medical staff.

The stream will be busy next week i reckon!

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

Is that the choice of the club as Telford had a photographer at Meadow Park on Tuesday.

I forgot media. That's at the discretion of the club at home. Got to have a snapper. Smile

I’m rather concerned about how much Hereford are going to make out of us next week at £10 a pop!

I'd imagine they are spending a fair bit of cash on the production so it might not be as much as you think.

Spoke with one of the independent snappers at today's game. He told me that there are 4 allowed at a game and he got into today's game because City were the only club out of the three he approached who actually bothered to get back.

That's good manners on our behalf, and who knows what publicity we may get from the photos taken.

Bloody hell, you've got good eyesight!
