With 5 players leaving in the last month and 2 incoming (loans) what positions do we need to cover/strengthen?
Id say a big target man striker(so Mclure can get 25 goals this season)
Defensive midfielder and probably another centre back, if we can get those 3 of a good quality and keep Brunt on loan I think that would be good business.
The fact that we’re top of the league should make it easier to bring in good players on loan if that’s the direction we choose to go.

It looked to me as if we were playing 4-3-3 at times last night. If so, a new winger would be the first priority, and then 1/2 new faces the bulk out the squad at the back and provide some competition, and either a back up striker or a partner for McClure.

Priority must be a striker. Then I'd say we want cover at GK.

When Cole is fit he could yet be number one with Maher as back up. Thanks to injury Marlon Jackson is a bit out of sorts at Chippenham.. His partnership with McLure and Mensah was beginning to look useful last season. Obviously politics could rule that out but it could suit both clubs. Without paying silly money or hoping a young loanee will do the trick it's a narrow field. A good test of PGs little black book.

I think we need another Central Defender. Full Back may be alright, think Josh Thomas has played in that position. Central midfield position may be OK. Have cover in Thomas and Hainault. Think we need two strikers. A first choice Adie Mings/Asante style of striker to go alongside Matt McClure. Then another striker who could come off the bench and score a goal.
