Where do we need to strengthen?

But he has no links with the manager and it would be a brave man to take a chance on him given what he did at Weymouth. Must be a reason he has had so many clubs and essentially was sacked. You would maybe take a chance if we were desperate, but we aren't.

Think we should be concentrating on defence, looking how Needham tore us apart at times! A better side would have made us pay.

Would love to see Marlon come back. I think we need a powerful target man to do the dirty work and drag defenders away to allow McClure to nip in with the goals. Maybe someone in mould of Luke Hopper.

I think the defence is pretty solid - we just seem to overplay it at the back which put us under pressure a few times on Tuesday night. When you look at Daly and Morgan they have the old school look of a defender that wants to defend and not play pretty football.

I wouldn't mind an extra centre back if it allowed JT to push into midfield.

If we can get Fab fit and on form then he could make the difference with the midfield creativity and allow Dawson to carry on covering every blade of grass! O'Sullivan seems to get better with every game too.

Thinking about this, I can't really work out who would drop out to make way for a new signing! Maybe we just need reliable squad players that can come in and do a job when needed rather than "big money" signings.

I don't even know what I'm saying anymore.

I like Morgan but when he’s closed down he panics, like the goal vs Blythe and yesterday putting Daly in trouble who gave away foul 20 yards out, he’d young but when he realizes sometimes it’s better to just hoof it if there’s no options on.
Thaths hood point about an extra CB as Thomas can play Midfield or defense depending on what’s needed each game.

Definitely need a striker to work with McClure, Campbell I'm afraid is not the answer and I'm sure will return to C********m once his loan ends.

I'm trusting my instinct here and thinking Marlon Jackson would be a good fit. I always liked his bombastic style, he was a real handful for defenders and created chances for others.

A CB and maybe full back, another striker. Midfield looks decent already, with good options off the bench.

We should look forward and not back, Marlon had a hatful of chances in our last few games up in Evesham and missed them. A hard worker but not someone who is a huge threat at this level if we are being brutally honest. That's the difference between staying in a divison and being a contender, Asante showed that.

Agree with that. To use the current phrase, we need an ‘oven ready’ striker

“There’s a mole. Right at the top of the circus. He’s been there for years.”
