Never easy rebuilding midway through a season so PG and AP have a big job ahead if we are to stay in or around the top this season.
We certainly need as said 5 good signings to replace those lost or leaving plus injuries.
The squad was always going to struggle as the season progressed with injuries and suspensions with the model adopted as AP eluded to.
Going to be an interesting few weeks with comings and goings.

Get a good price for him Alex and let him be on his way if that's what he wants? He is a very good player don't let him go for peanut's, if he doesn't want to play for our club get someone that does.

Well said Grey beard, if we get a good fee we can buy in an equal player well that's the way its supposed to work!
Players just cant walk out for free if another club wants them they will have to pay. Part of the problem of recruiting players from miles way at this level perhaps?

He hasn’t been the same player since Rowe left, if he wants to go and not be part of something special than so be it. It’s disappointing but never mind.

Has JR got dodgy photos of some of these players to bribe them with. Never known anything like it. Will we be compensated at all for this? Whoever is writing players contracts may as well be drawing them up in invisible ink. Reflects badly on the club all our big signings choosing to bugger off after a handful of games.

Concerning that top players are still looking to leave when we're top of the league.

Hopefully these 5 new signings will set out our intent to stay in our lofty position, and convince players to stop jumping ship.

That first sentence.

Crazy!

Surely he's not wanted at Chesterfield after the signed Joel Taylor?

We will just have to wait and see where he could or where he will end up going to?If of course he goes to a club that said they would not entice any more of our player's the FA should be informed and a complaint should be made.

This and Neil is right I am not sure Rowe would want him anymore not that he can go there unless he does a Carline. I wonder if since it was obvious he wanted out that he doesn't feel part of the squad anymore and just isn't happy.

In PG interview he only discussed the injuries to Mensah and Mclure,The Chester Full back was signed for 25k by Rowe and you could argue that Whittle has a higher market value due to his CV,Transfer list him if he wants but he needs to play while on the list.
Has anyone noticed that the last 2 years with all the good stuff happening in the club not a peep from JP but his last few stories both have caused concern,I wonder where his source came from this story,I could take a guess...

I think it reflects badly on the players not so much the club,I hope we get a few this time as like you say if Whittle can wiggle out of his contract there pretty much not worth the paper there written on.
