National League 'Hardship Fund'
#11

Rumour have it that Chesterfield are struggling to pay their over manned squad wages and are looking to ship a few out. If they can't get a handout from the Hard up fund could be in real trouble. Think of anyone that may fit into our squad?

Could be struggling to get rid of players at the moment. I can't see any step 2 side getting anyone in whilst the season is still up in the air and step 1 sides could be thinking twice as well. Also if you are a player you will probably be wanting not to change teams as if the season ends you wouldn't be able to be furloughed. Serves them right if they have overspent and amazingly they were happy to take a loan from the government when given the 3 options last week.

Everyone could be clever and take the loan and then when it comes to pay it back all go pop in unison and drop three divisions and start again.

I might send that to Viz's top tips.

Any league team in need of a goal scorer should take Asante, rumour has it he has a knockdown release clause if a league club want him

Wunder that when Asante went to c, field did we have a sell on clause or did he go on a free ?
It would be good to get some thing if they got a good fee for selling him on.
