Been reading that Max Griggs, the Owner of Dr Martens Boots had passed away last month. He formed Rushden and Diamonds in 1992, merging two teams together.
The Nene Park Ground had a Dr Martens Boot Shop. Went to the ground twice during the 1990's watching GCAFC.
