League statement
#1

I'm hearing there will be a league statement at 13:00 today... No idea what or why.... keep your eyes peeled to the press etc

Here you go

This is a live example of what I'm dealing with... I had no idea this was coming today. I got a 30min warning something was happening and I read the statement the same time as everyone else in the world ...

How can I run a business when I've no idea what's going on, ever ... It's much easier to work to a programme that moves, rather then one that doesn't exist. Anyway, the season is over. Enjoy your summer ...

Hi Neil,

I'm being told we're another vote on that to follow. But being really open ... I'm being told loads of different things and different stories and so many are just words and opinion... so i'm trying to listen more then talk ... as I don't want any biting me on the butt.

I have read that apparently Step 2 clubs are going to vote first on how the leagues finish up and then step 1 clubs will vote. Not sure if that means different things could happen. Also no one knows what is going to given as options. PPG and voiding are obviously going to be two, but there could be more. York are campaigning for promotion based on the fact they had played more games than Kings Lynn and are currently top. I suspect you are going to get a lot of emails Alex about how you should vote.

What’s York’s thinking behind that if KL have 2 games  in hand over them?

Like I say it is because they believe they played the games and won the points. Given Kings Lynn's form before this happened they could easily have got 0 or 1 point in them. Kings Lynn would arguably benefit from paying 2 fewer games so how is that fair?

I just said to a Barrow fan on Twitter that they should use the last 9 games (which is what they and Harrogate have left) and take the points won in that time and give each clubs those points. He didn't like that much though and that system would mean Harrogate would win the league. Funny how clubs want a system which suits them and not one that doesn't.

Seems a weak argument to me.
