League statement
#11

I've just done an interview with the Sunday Independent and in that I said I would guess that the votes would be split. With the North/ South voting together and the National clubs following the EFL model. But i'm just guessing... I would also guess that there will be a different number of teams in the North and South next season, as I reckon only one will come down from the National.

But this is all guessing... no one knows.

I think they have a point to be fair. Kings Lynn were doing their best to blow the title in the games leading up to lockdown. I think York would have won the league, but it just highlights that clubs are only in it for themselves which is why the league should have made a decision. They can't win though because they were getting slagged off on Twitter for stopping the league even though it was something the clubs had voted for!

Null and void because.

Teams at top won nothing so not successful yet. Teams at bottom have not failed yet so should not be punished. This is FACT!!

37 of the 47 clubs in L1 and L2 have asked
For a wage cap to be introduced for next season
Due to the possibility of having to play games behind closed doors.
I think that’s a good shout and another thing that could be done at NL level is have the games filmed(which they already are) and fans pay for the right to watch them with each party taking their cut.

Imagine watching City live but on TV from home..I’m pretty sure my TV would end up with my foot through it and the missus would leave me within 3 weeks ?

Having games filmed is one thing, but having them streamed online is totally different. I would imagine quite a few grounds wouldn't have the wi-fi strength required to do a decent stream. Also no guarantee it will actually work. Non-League football won't return until supporters are allowed in the ground

In Germany they will film games and people watch in their cars outside the ground,We will be having heat
maps in the floodlights so I assume that’s using WiFi but must admit IT is not my strongest area of knowledge.
Im sure you would love games to be streamed like me,I would happily pay a monthly/yearly fee for the service.

That's us though who might be fine, but there will be plenty of clubs who wont be able to do that. Non-League football just can't survive until crowds are allowed in. In normal circumstances as it stands 3pm Saturday fixtures are not allowed to be shown.
