Especially when you’re covered in someone else’s vomit. Not my best day!

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

Who gave him the cider? I cleaned it up with Goughie and Kerry at 3am when we got home. Kerry still had to drive back to Swindon on his own.

28th October 2008.

On this date, (in our Play-Off Victory Season) we played away at Evesham United in the Southern League Cup 1st Round. Having not attended this match, I think this match was played at Eveshams old ground, Common Road?
The game was played in front of a crowd of 37. Karl Nash the scorer of two goals, and Will Morford the other, as City ran out 3 - 0 winners. Gloucester had quite a good run in this seasons League Cup, reaching the 4th Round.

29th October 1967.

Wishing a Very Happy Birthday to ex Gloucester City AFC Manager David Mehew. David guided us to Play Off Final Glory against Farnborough in 2009, and was our first manager to lead us in National League North football. He also guided us to two FA Cup 1st Rd Proper appearances, against Leyton Orient and Fleetwood Town.

One of my favourite City managers, could make a bunch of individuals into a team and make them think they were good enough to beat anyone.
Never got bullied under him!

Everything was looking rosey then. James Rowe was heavily backed with quality signings, then up sticks. Thought just Asante was going to follow him out, then others went. To go from top of the league to bottom in a year is a Nightmare..
