Six. Hundred. And. Twelve!

That was arguably the best team we've ever had and hardly anyone showed up. Shows what effect vertical videos has had.

 25th March 1997.

  Gloucester City 4 - 3 Bishop Auckland.
     (FA Trophy, Quarter Final. Replay.)

Gloucester City were in FA Trophy Action, as they reached the Quarter Final Stage. They were drawn to play Bishop Auckland, from the North East.
Gloucester were drawn to play away in this round. The away match finished 0 - 0, so a midweek replay match was played in Gloucester.
A crowd of 1829 was at Meadow Park. The replay was totally different, from the 0 - 0 first game. The replay saw a seven goal thriller, as Gloucester came out on top, as 4 - 3 winners.
Scoring City's goals, were strikers David Holmes (2), and Dale Watkins (2).

Andrew Adebowale, Hannah, Hoskins, Kirkup, Mainwaring, Tucker, Wollen.

28th March 2015.

    Solihull Moors 0 - 2 Gloucester City.
                 (Conference North).

Gloucester City made the short trip up the M5/M42, to play Solihull Moors, at their Damson Parkway ground.
A crowd of 536 was at the ground, to watch Gloucester get a 2 - 0 away win. The win made watching the airplanes taking off from nearby Birmingham International Airport, all the more sweeter.
City's goals were scored by left back Billy Jones, (penalty). With attacking player Femi Orenuga, getting City's second.

I remember this game well. It was my daughter Amelies first away match, and we went on the coach. I seem to recall some issue regarding the coach being allowed to park?

Bloody hell, you've got good eyesight!

How odd, I have no photos and no report from this game. I thought it was the one where Danny Andrew scored a penalty against Jas Singh. I must've missed that one.

One thing to note, if you go there now you won't see any planes because Land Rover have built a massive warehouse next to the ground boxing it in. There was even talk of Solihull moving because LR wanted the land (which they might actually own) to expand even further. I wonder if they could move back to the Moorlands?!!

I think it might have been a previous Link that you put on here, it shows Damson Parkway in the middle of a Jaguar/Land Rover sandwich. The phrase, 'There can only be one winner' springs to mind. Don't know if Jaguar/Land Rover have anything to do with Solihull Moors, (Sponsoring etc).
Can recall going to Solihull Moors one April, it was freezing. Don't know if that was the game you were referring to.
