24th October 1998.

    Chertsey Town 0 - 5 Gloucester City.
                    (FA Trophy, 1st Rd).

Gloucester City were away to Chertsey, for an FA Trophy tie. City were in Good goal scoring, and defensive form. Their previous match was against Sudbury Town in the FA Cup. In that Cup Competition, Gloucester recorded a 10 - 0 win.
City now faced Chertsey of the Ryman League, Division One. A crowd of 246 saw Gloucester winger Tony Hemmings score a hatrick. While striker Adie Mings, scored the other two.

24th November 2007.

          Gloucester City 1 - 0 Uxbridge
       (FA Trophy, 3rd Qualifying Round).

Gloucester City were in FA Trophy action, on this day in 2007. This was City's first season in exile, following the floods in the Summer, of the same year.
Gloucester, who were playing home matches at Forest Green Rovers New Lawn Stadium, were close to reaching the FA Trophy 1st Round Proper. A crowd of 255 was at the ground.
The match was 0 - 0 for quite a while. City manager Tim Harris, put Alex Allard on, as a substitute. It was Allard that scored a late winner for City, to send us through to the next round.
