Great result that, was fearing the worse with the red card,so to keep a clean sheet after and score another with fans says how hard the players worked is great.
Maybe in the last game they would had a free header but not this time.
Saw an interview with their manager saying how the last game they knew we were young and not physical but we have improved since then,he was right!

Despite a red card we went on and scored a third against a  Kettering side who had rolled us over a few weeks ago.

LM should be justifiably proud. Well done from number 1 to 11.
Agree with most posts about today’s game, although imo not all from 1 to 11 played well. It has stated on a different thread that there are concerns about Cole. Not once today did he command the box or come for a catch. The few times he did come for the ball he punched it. I would also say this is not only my view. A spectator who sat behind me who was at their first City game also had similar concerns. He was more knowledgeable than me having played as a semi-professional defender.

Charlie- you will never please everyone with the choice of music- so don’t try too - your intro - goals when they are scored is excellent . I have been to hundreds of non league grounds where the PA system is shocking- ours is superb- just turn it down a notch. Please.

Jake has played hundreds of games in the Football League. That trumps a semi-pro defender Smile

Strangely routine win, not seen one of those in a long time. Players were clearly very happy for Max, one assumes he's found it tough since coming in so it was great to see the team showing their support for him. Ib thought Leadbitter was in with a shout for MOTM too

I think they were pleased for him but I think Kev was trying to encourage the team to celebrate with him to eat up some more time too Wink

There was more that 270 odd surely. Looked close to 500 unless my eyes are deceiving me.. very good performance today. Hopefully it will be the catalyst to kick start our season. It's so nice to not be depressed on a Saturday night
