Oldham Athletic are currently second from bottom in League Two. A long way from the days of the early 1990's when they were in the Debut Premier League season. They had Joe Royle as manager, and players such as Richard Jobson and Earl Barrett. Think they had a striker, Ian Marshall, and a Norwegian fullback Halle?
Could they be the first ex Premier League side to get relegated to the National League? League Two also has Bradford City and Swindon Town, who have also been in the Premier League. But they are around mid table, towards the top respectively.

Andrew Adebowale, Hannah, Hoskins, Kirkup, Mainwaring, Tucker, Wollen.

Derby could well go pop, and cease to exist.

Back in time - not that far back really - Wolves dropped through the Leagues like a stone and Bristol City dropped from the top to the bottom league. In the current conference are Notts County who were in the 1st division back in the day (pre Premier League).

Don't forget Man City and Leeds! Football seems to go in cycles for success,we seemed too have skipped the success bit over the last 20 years but we're now on the right path it seems for the next 20....

Oxford Utd. Reached the old 1st Div. (and won the League Cup), and have been relegated down into the Conference.

I remember watching City play them in the Southern League in the 50's when they were known as Headington Utd.

Not a happy camp it seems

Oldham Athletic ban three fans for three years for 'promoting dislike' of club - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59742923

Not sure that's a great move, will just make it worse, should try talking to the fans and seeing how they can improve the relationship, that's the way I would go about it anyway.

Problem is the disconnect between the owners who not only have no allegiance but probably don't even know which country Oldham's in, let alone which county, nor that it's the second highest ground in the EFL etc. etc. vs the supporters who do. This is sad, and mad.

We are fortunate at City to have a backer who not only has local connections but lives and breathes to progress our Club.

I suppose the last paragraph is the ideal situation for most football fans but not all as our as lucky as us with the exception of a few of course.
