Oldham Athletic have certainly been going down the league's since the 1990's. I can remember Joe Royle keeping them up in the Premier League. Mentioned before about a player they had, Earl Barrett, (a fullback if I recall) believe he played for England, Arsenal were linked with him.
Been looking at the Oldham Athletic website, (as you do). They are a few places above the bottom 4 in the National League. There Management Team would make Dr Bob Happy.

Manager:- David Unsworth. (Ex Everton defender).
Assistant Manager:- John Ebbrell. (Ex Everton player).
First Team Coach:- Francis Jeffers. (Ex Everton, Arsenal striker).

Looking at there First Team, have have players that are related to ex Premier League players.

Jordan Windass (Def):- Youngest Son of Dean.
James Carragher (Def):- 19 year old son of Jamie.
John Rooney (Mid):- Brother of Wayne.

All they need now is Charlie Sheringham and Sam Merson up front. Get Sam Beasant in goal, team sorted.

Andrew Adebowale, Hannah, Hoskins, Kirkup, Mainwaring, Tucker, Wollen.
 Danny ANDREW, Jake ANDREWS.

In the National League today, it was Notts County 4 - 1 Oldham Athletic. In the 1991/92 season, this would have been a First Division Fixture, (now the Premier League). In the 1991/92 season, Leeds United were Crowned Champions of the league. Ian Wright was the Division's Top goalscorer, with 29 goals for Arsenal.
Both Teams have certainly dropped down the leagues.

There’s a good chance that Oldham could be visiting the Tiger Turf next season. They’re currently 22nd in the NL and look to be headed for the NLN next year. Alternatively, if they escape relegation, we could possibly be promoted and they would still have to visit us.
