The scoreboard is a bit knackered…

And we want a new one!

Any donation, however small, will help top up sponsorship and get it sorted asap. The new one will allow live interviews and even replays mid match.

Got to be worth a fiver each at least!

Why not?

I clearly hear everything Charlie says over the PA?

Hang on, but I keep being told it's too loud?!  Smile

This has been something in the works for a little while, and thanks to Matt P and the Trust for being on top of it. I know a lot of fans have had questions on social media and I'm always happy to answer them, so speak to me if you see me or message me on social media/WhatsApp if you'd like to know any more.

The current scoreboard is limited in its capabilities, and previous regimes didn't want to pay for the yearly maintenance, meaning it fell out of warranty and the bill is now many multiples higher than it should be.

As for the PA system, yes the direction the speakers face aren't great, and it's not completely equal in terms of spacing. We did have 4 other speakers left in the PA box when we came back home, however they mysteriously disappeared about 2-3 years ago, no idea what happened to them.

May seem silly question time but what do we want the scoreboard to do.
Yes its certainly lost its original crisp ness but do we need it to any other than show the score with the timer. Im just putting it out there.

That said faces that go with team sheets etc brilliant.

It’s not far doing nothing but being a big black square!

I think this answer will be different depending on who you ask really.

Easy to be critical but deemed an unnecessary expense as long as it’s working of a fashion.
Despite my other post it’s become an integral part of the matchday experience easily read and seen by the majority .
For those who have been to Hungerford- their new score board is the opposite to ours- it’s directly behind a flood light pylon so about 2/3rds can’t see it.
