They were telling me some surfaces have a football pitch - 5 a side- hockey all done in different colours but in the same way.

Thanks Gladfans that's just the answer I was looking for. Thanks again.

Didn't like my near identical answer the post before then? Big Grin

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

Enjoyed the two recent videos from Alex in the rain. The pitch looks fantastic, it will look brilliant when line markings are complete, goal nets and corner flags are in place.
To think that the pitch level was raised up from a lower level, had to be leveled out, then have the pitch surfaces laid out is a fantastic achievement.

Andrew Adebowale, Hannah, Hoskins, Kirkup, Mainwaring, Tucker, Wollen.
 Danny ANDREW, Jake ANDREWS.

I’m really pleased about the drainage on the pitch,Ive missed at least half if not more of the games I’ve had pencilled in to watch due to ever a waterlogged or frozen pitch since I left the Shire.

Spoke to the guys today with regard to the centre circle and penalty area D. They use the same straight sections of white line but overlap and stitch and glue as they move round the arc. Simple really. But can’t be done when it’s sheeting down with rain as the glue doesn’t stick. So there they were sat in the stand looking at the cloud that seemed to hang over Meadow Park all day.
