Great result today. SK now has a decent settled team and it’s bringing results. Our destiny is in our own hands - apart from Alfreton who have four games in hand.
Not sure it was wrong, pretty sure we were told officially that there was to be a cull. Not sure why it’s changed, but imagine the results have brought about a stay of execution. If the playoffs become unachievable then fair enough, strip it back, but hopefully the run continues. Absolutely amazing today, it really feels like this team is getting better and better.

Alex made the plans when it looked like we weren't going to make the play-offs, then King held firm and started winning games so Alex doesn't really have a choice. He would have seen the outcry on here about his statement given how close we are to the play-offs. No doubt if we get there Alex will try taking the credit!

Anyway superb result and we are dragging more teams towards us which is handy because Alfreton have games in hand behind us. King continues to do a fantastic job and it is no surprise that he is either. Best manager we have ever had.

Great result. SK is proving to be an excellent manager. Who knows what the future holds, but after predicting the season would fizzle out with the rumoured cull it seems we've still got everything to play for. Next Saturday is big, on and off the pitch. Let's hope the people turn up in the numbers the team deserve. Up the City!

Looking at the table I reckon it's two out of Scarborough, Chorley, Alfreton and us. Which makes yesterday's result massive. We are probably still underdogs, especially given Alfretons games in hand. Can't help but feel those points we dropped from winning positions round the turn of the year are going to come back and bite us.

However to still be in the hunt is massive and hopefully we get a good turnout next week. The team certainly deserves that right now.

With the Rugby club playing Friday shame local radio and paper wont promote the club better lots of people will have spare time Saturday. Shame the rugby club couldn't make a announcement as well during the game at half time push home Gloucester is in a promotion race and could really benefit from extra support

Darlington and Brackley looking over their shoulders aswell just because they are having bad runs of form feeling the pressure maybe?

Two things; it's interesting to see the opposition openly talking about our players and also, whilst he's not putting too much into the deflected free kick, which effectively killed the game it's worth mentioning that their winner down here took a massive deflection!

With hindsight, I should have checked before posting, but it can still be one team - we've shipped nine goals against Darlington this season (six at home is unforgivable).
