Can this be the last week already? Fever pitch just doesn't come close to describing the emotions. One warning is that a Friday match has fallen foul of the virus but at time of writing all weekend matches are on. Habitual Friday team Energetik-BGU Minsk are making their Predictor debut. BGU is the state university. They caused a shock in the first match of the season defeating the mighty BATE 3-1. Five wins and 10 goals see them joint 3rd after narrowly surviving relegation last season thanks to securing 17 points from their last 8 games. Their mighty Uzbekistani loanee Yasur Yakhsibaev has 6 of their 10 goals so far this season while crafty Liberian international schemer David Tweh has most assists
Dave's (Angel not Tweh) original notion was half the pot to the winner and a separate prize for the highest points scorer in the last week. That equates to £55 for the overall winner and say £15 to this week's individual winner.
Good luck all!

Thanks Shandy. Meanwhile the Angel has reminded me that our prediction league was intended to be ongoing with a further £10 enrolment for the next 4 weeks.
So I jumped the gun in advertising money this week though it would seem only fair to honour the grand prize, perhaps re-setting all scores from next week. Something to think about anyway..
Late news: Interesting spectacle in Turkmenistan this afternoon as Energetik Mary entertains Kopetdag.
