Hi - yes you should have got an email last week, unless you paid cash or something and didn’t provide an email address.

I got an email asking me to pick my seat (which I did before the deadline) - should I assume I’ve got that seat?

You should have received an email with a seating plan on it. You don’t need to pick a seat if you don’t want to, it’s up to you best to reply to the email
