New Community Stadiums for City to visit next season?
#1

With GCAFC (all being well) starting next season back at New Meadow Park, we may be playing two teams who are moving to new Community Stadiums.
Boston United are moving from York Street to a new Community Stadium. Looks impressive going by the plans. On the Boston United website, it shows construction so far from a camera videoing the site. Been to York Street twice, one of those games being an FA Trophy match which we won. They are looking to sell the seating which was in the stand which housed the away fans.
Another team which we may face is York City. But they will be competing in this season's Play-Offs, so may not play them. They are moving to a new stadium, groundsharing with a Rugby team.
Believe that Kettering Town will have a new stadium in the future, maybe another new venue to visit.

Did not realise that Boston United were in the play-off positions. Thought they were around 8th. May play York or Boston next season.

Meanwhile Bradford are replacing turf with 3G and have some other changes planned. And Brackley are working on new clubhouse etc after last year's fire. So the NLN are doing their bit to help regenerate the economy.

I had a look at Boston’s new ground the other day whilst visiting RAF Marham. It’s a fair way out of town on on a retail park with a Starbucks and KFC!! Looks impressive tho.

The new Boston stadium looks very impressive indeed. When I was looking at the artistic impressions it looked like someone had built my dream Meadow Park!
