Not really. More physical yes but it wasn’t like the Kettering game.

Mind you, they had 11 big players that started and then 5 more on the bench.

National North is all about physical presence, it seems that big sides usually do well of course ability comes into it as well.
PG didn't see that and his team trying to play tippy tappy without physical dominance as results proved don't cut it.
At least we now seem to be heading the right direction.

Fylde had quite a few big guys but their man of the match and by far the best player on the day was 39 year old David Perkins, 5 ft 6, probably the smallest man on the park as well as the oldest. Kept it simple, always available, never wasted a pass. If you're good enough you're big enough. I can't recall a single time we got near enough to him to make an effective challenge let alone knock him over.
