To be perfectly honest it would be so wrong if he were to be here after January 2nd, after all, what does that say to players who are sent out on loan, excel themselves and then still aren't considered for a start by their parent clubs?

It would even be an insult to him if he were to go back just to sit on the bench.

Players end up staying longer on loan all the time though. Depends if Rovers have plans to start him or not and they might think it better he spends the rest of the season with us to get some more experience especially given how well he is doing. Scoring in the NLN is very different from League 2 though.
