Imagine getting to a playoff final and being 0-4 down at half time!

I wonder if Oxford City's fans are worried about going bust if they go up?... Seriously though, they're going to be a National League side and Brackley might join them, they're both so tinpot - what are the rest of us not doing that they are?

They haven't got any fans. We got beat 1-7 at Whaddon and they brought a couple of cars.

In our case being in exile for 13 years... I agree though, this club should be at least NL and probably L2. I would think that the Chambers can see the potential in a club in a city this size and hopefully they'll take us there. Vanity clubs like Brackley and Fylde won't last. Oxford City are interesting - the difficulty for them is that Oxford already has an EFL club. They'll end up the whipping boys of NL unless someone puts a lot of money in.

I sat through that match with Darren Mullings (who had by then joined them, and was, as so frequently, out injured).

Oxford City, as said they will be back in NLS OR N after next season nigh on impossible for them to stay up unless a sugar daddy stumps up cash and even then its not likely.

Added complication for them is having to dig up their pitch or play somewhere else (which of course would have applied to us..)

They're more likely to do a Bath City; fine in the first season and dogshit in the second.

NLS teams seem more often than not to ho up and straight back down again, Weymouth lucky to stay in NLS last season, be interesting to see who they sign, I bet the ex league clubs will just love visiting that ground....
