Yes. They'd be as badly off as us if it hadn't!

Interesting that Braintree, who we tonked 3-0 in the trophy, are in 3rd.

Yes.

As regards Truro they should easily survive provided they find a way to complete their fixtures!

I think Truro will be OK. I’m not so sure about Taunton and could see them folding, with their results being expunged.

Amazingly Taunton hammered Torquay last Saturday. I'd be surprised if anyone folded before the end of the season now given there is only a month left.

How are Torquay so bad though? Full time, good calibre of players too. Is Kev Dawson injured still?

Dawson came back the other week. They have been awful all season but for the first half they were getting away with it and were still in title contention for a while. Then they stopped getting away with it and just kept losing. After Johnson left there was an initial improvement, but clearly that has gone again.

I saw the highlights of the Worthing home game. Worthing had about 15 shots.

I see that Dartford have been relegated from NLS. Reading their forum they echo the same concerns as us (nice ground though):

Our prospects for next season will become more apparent in the summer, but really the planning starts now. And it starts from the top. We will now see what THE BOARD is REALLY made of. Rightly or wrongly, some fans have questioned the club’s ambition to reach the National League. I don’t think there’ll be much forgiveness if we see a lack of ambition to come back up to the NLS. Is the Board willing to do what is necessary to give us the best chance of bouncing back? Or will the lack-of-ambition accusations be justified ?

Ultimately we need players who want to play for Dartford and know how to win matches. I’m not very optimistic at this stage. I fear another mistake-prone defence, another creativity-free midfield, and another toothless attack. We’ll see.

One thing is for certain: there is no easy way back. It won’t happen at all if the right things aren’t in place.

Well that's a bigger surprise to me even than City's relegation. Always looked at them as a 'big' club at this level. Stalwarts of the old Southern League, played them regularly back then and could well meet up again next season of course.
